Simple Ingredients for Homemade Lemonade
A list so short and sweet, you won’t forget a single item at the grocery store.
- Fresh Lemons
- Cane Sugar
- Cold Water
- Ice Cubes
Old-Fashioned Instructions
Good things come to those who wait; and lucky for us… that’s the longest, hardest part of this instruction list. And trust me, the time for the lemonade to chill is worth the wait.
- Lemons. Wash and roll the lemons on the countertop to release more juice. Cut them in half and extract the juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer – no pulp, no seeds.
- Sugar. Add the sugar to the lemon juice. Yep, right in and give it a good stir.
- Mix. In a large beverage container or pitcher, mix the fresh lemon juice mixture and cold water. Stir well to combine. At this part, taste the lemonade and adjust as desired.
- Chill. Set in fridge for an hour or so, let it get nice and cold.
- Serve. Serve in your best glass over ice.
