Simple Ingredients for Homemade Lemonade

A list so short and sweet, you won’t forget a single item at the grocery store.

  • Fresh Lemons
  • Cane Sugar
  • Cold Water
  • Ice Cubes

Old-Fashioned Instructions

Good things come to those who wait; and lucky for us… that’s the longest, hardest part of this instruction list. And trust me, the time for the lemonade to chill is worth the wait.

  1. Lemons. Wash and roll the lemons on the countertop to release more juice. Cut them in half and extract the juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer – no pulp, no seeds.
  2. Sugar. Add the sugar to the lemon juice. Yep, right in and give it a good stir.
  3. Mix. In a large beverage container or pitcher, mix the fresh lemon juice mixture and cold water. Stir well to combine. At this part, taste the lemonade and adjust as desired.
  4. Chill. Set in fridge for an hour or so, let it get nice and cold.
  5. Serve. Serve in your best glass over ice.

Making Old-Fashioned Homemade Lemonade is a simple yet rewarding process that brings a refreshing taste to any day.
