Ingredients
3slicesof white breador choice of sandwich bread
2tablespoonsmayonnaise
2hard-boiled eggssliced
2slicesof cheesetypically mild cheddar
1avocadosliced
1tomatosliced
lettuce optional
saltto taste
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
Slice the hard-boiled eggs, avocado, and tomato.
Wash the lettuce if using and set it aside.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
On the bottom slice of bread, layer cheese and sliced egg.
Place the second slice of bread on top and layer sliced avocado and tomato (and lettuce, if using).
Finally, top with the third slice of bread.
Cut and Serve:
Press the sandwich down gently to compact it, then cut it into halves or quarters.
Serve immediately.
